Blake Depinet is our interim organist, having started on August 8. He is a graduate of New Riegel High School, class of 2019. He is currently in his third year at Heidelberg University pursuing a degree in music education. In Blake’s words: “I have only been playing the organ for a short period of time but my instructor from Heidelberg, Mrs. McConnell, has set me up for a great deal of success!” Blake has also been playing piano and tuba for a number of years. In fact we can expect that he will use the piano at times during worship. He will also be accompanying the chancel choir. Blake currently resides in New Riegel and says that he is looking forward to this opportunity!
