Music

Trinity’s music ministry has long been a hallmark of the congregation.  The program embraces a variety of styles in worship from contemporary, traditional, to blended, incorporating a praise band, pipe organ, piano, other instruments, SATB choir, small vocal ensembles, and soloists.  Our congregation’s music program enhances our worship services with meaning and beauty, and offers an opportunity to participants to grow in faith and have an outlet to express their faith in meaningful ways through the creative interpretation of music.

The Chancel Choir is currently not gathering due to COVID-19 protocols.  When they are otherwise engaged in making music, the choir leads the congregation in singing during the Traditional Service and enhances the worship by singing anthems and other special music.  Rehearsal for the choir is at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings.  The choir is open to anyone who loves to sing.  If you are interested please contact the church office.

During non-pandemic times, Trinity supports two handbell choirs: Jubilee and Canticle.  They use five octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and three octaves of Malmark Hand Chimes. Each choir plays once a month for services. New ringers, middle and high school students, adults, students at Tiffin and Heidelberg Universities are welcome. Please contact the church office if you are interested or would like more information.

Since re-gathering for in-person worship during this time of COVID-19 there is one handbell choir that practices on Monday evenings and plays once a month during the Traditional Service.

This 4-6 piece group (keyboard, drums, bass, vocals) of amateur and professional musicians provides music for the Contemporary worship service each Sunday.  They rehearse on Tuesday evenings.  If you’d like to share your musical talents in this way please contact the church office.
